David Allen Pike, 59, died Thursday, September 26, 2019 at his sister's home.

Born in Roanoke , Virginia, David was the son of the late Leonard F. and Barbara Shaver Pike. He had lived in the Dayton community for the last five years.  David had been a painter and had worked in the construction industry.  He liked to mow the yard and watch "True Crime Stories" on TV.  David was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his sister Cindy Dean.

Survivors include his brothers Leonard (Doris) Pike of Manchester, Tennessee, Roger Lee Pike of York, Pennsylvania and Ray Pike of Huntsville, Alabama and sister Debbie (Dennis) Peltier of Dayton and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
