Daniel "Dan" Edwin Thomas, 60 died Saturday, June 22, 2019 at his home.

A longtime resident of Spring City, Dan never met a stranger and loved living on the lake. He was a construction manager and was employed by Goodman Network s.

He was preceded in death by his father Edwin Thomas Jr .

Survivors include his wife Tina Cooper of Spring City, mother Carol Thomas McGrane of Spring Hill, FL, sister Debra Thomas (Scott) Hoover of Madison, AL, three nephews David (Rachel) Hoover of Huntsville, AL, Ryan (Brittany) Hoover and Dustin (Adriana) Hoover both of Madison, AL, seven great nieces and nephews and his "boys" dogs Cody and Jake.

A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
