Curtis Janow, 67, died Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Erlanger Medical Center.
A lifetime resident of Spring City, Curtis was the son of the late John and Ina Russell Janow. He was a lawnmower mechanic and also had worked at Southern Silk Mill and SSM. Curtis was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Spring City.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline L. Janow, sister Elizabeth Miller, brothers Boyd Janow and Houston "Hoot" Janow and daughter-in-law Roberta Janow.
Survivors include his children Michael (Brenda) Janow of Spring City, Dewayne Janow of Evensville, Bryan (Sarah) Janow of Spring City and Terry J. (Dean) Smith of Knoxville, brothers Edward Janow and George Janow both of Spring City, sister Joan Godsey of Spring City, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services are Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Sherrill and Rev. Jerry Leffew officiating. Interment will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Spring City. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
