Christine T. Roberts, 92, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at her residence with her family by her side.

A lifetime resident of Spring City, Christine was the daughter of the late Steven and Susie Brown Thurman.  She was a homemaker and loved to sew and quilt.  Christine was a member of Webb's Chapel Church of God in Spring City.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lynn Roberts, her daughter Bernice Harris, son Larry Roberts and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her son Otis (Judy) Roberts of Spring City, her daughter Virginia (Robert) Ellis of Spring City, her brother Austin Thurman of Dayton, special friend Elsie Collins of Spring City, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are Fri day, November 1 , 2019 at 1:00 p m at Webb's Chapel Church of God with Rev. Jackie Penny officiating.  Interment will be in the Thurman Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday, October 31, 201 9 from 5:00 p m to 7:00 p m at Vaughn Funeral Home . The body will lie in state 30 minutes before the service at the church
