Chase William Thompson, 22, died Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Rhea Medical Center .

Born on June 1, 1997 , Chase was a lifetime resident of Rhea County.  He was a graduate of Rhea County High School.  Chase worked for Titan, Inc. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and golfing. Chase loved his family and the Florida "Gators" . He was of the Protestant faith.

Survivors include his wife Kendra Thompson of Soddy Daisy, father Jeremy (Heather) Thompson of Spring City, mother Jessie Thompson of Dayton, son Owen William Thompson of Soddy Daisy, grandparents Mark (Sandy) Podbielski of Spring City, James (Tina) Thompson of Harriman, Charlotte Monday of Spring City, April Thompson of Grandview, Joann (Bucky) Matthews of Crossville and Herb (Linda) Matthews of Jamestown and brother Chandler Thompson of Dayton.

Funeral services are Satur day, February 29 , 2020 at 4:00 p m in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Revis officiating .  Interment will be in the Add Smith Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Satur day from 1:00 p m to 4:00 p m at Vaughn Funeral Home.
