Charlsey B. Barton, 98, formerly of Spring City, Tennessee, died Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Baptist Health Louisville.

Born in Rhea County, Tennessee, Charlsey was the daughter of the late Julian and Alice Fugate Barger.  She was a graduate of Spring City High School.  Charlsey was a member of the First Baptist Church in Spring City.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold A. "Barney" Barton, son Michael Gerald Barton, brothers Leonard Barger and Max Barger and sisters Thelma Masoner and Louise Hinch.

Survivors include her son Tom (Marceline) Barton of Louisville, Kentucky, sisters Norma Zoe Glomski of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Ruby Cash of Midlothian, Virginia, grandchildren Dawn (Chris) Hubbuch of London, KY, Krista Barton and Thomas R. Barton both of Louisville, great grandchildren Sara Hubbuch and Jacob Hubbuch of London, KY, great-great grandchildren Sawyer and Riley and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are Saturday, December 1 5, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Price officiating.  Interment will follow in the Spring City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
