Charles Eugene Stanley, 78 , died Thurs day, March 21 , 2019 at the Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center.

A longtime resident of Spring City, Charles was a graduate of Harriman High School. He owned and operated the Mobile Service Center for 43 years and retired from the Lear Corporation. Charles was active in the community serving in the National Guard , a member of the Spring City Jaycees and also The Rhea Fair Association.  He was also a member of the Spring City Baptist Church.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents Webster Charles and Rachel Irene Collett Stanley and his son Timothy "Tim" Eugene Stanley .

Survivors include his daughters Teresa (Melvin) Miller Holland of Dayton and Lisa (Joe) Smith of Athens, Tennessee, sister Charlotte Heath of Redland, California and grandchildren Robert Andrew Garren, Sierra Nicole Miller and Chelsey Lani ' Miller.

Funeral services are Sun day, March 24 , 2019 at 2:00 p m in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Hurd officiating.  Interment will follow in the Spring City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Satur day from 6:00 pm to 8:00 p m at Vaughn Funeral Home.
