Charles D. Linebarger, 58 of Spring City died Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at his home.

Born on March 24, 1963 in Jacksonville, Florida , Charles moved to the Spring City community in 1984.  He was an accompl ished carpenter and electrician.  Charles loved to fish and hunt ; but most of all he loved his sons Charles II and Cody and his granddaughters Alyssa, Jade and Millie.

He was preceded in death by his father J. D. Linebarger, his stepfather Harry "Pops" Hilke, his grandparents Charles and Sara Alge and Glenn and Bankie Linebarger and his sister Glenna Turner.

Survivors include his mot her Sharon Hilke of Spring City, his sons Charles D. (Mandie) Linebarger II of Evensville and Cody (Staci) Linebarger of Dayton, his brothers Richard (Luana) Hilke of Richmond, Virginia and Bert Linebarger of Dayton, his sisters Barbara Linebarger of Okeechobee, Florida and Eva (Jimmy) Hampton of Spring City, his grandchildren Alyssa, Jade, Millie, Lexi, Blake and Kailee, his great grandchildren Cohen and Waylon and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Texas Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Norman Huskey officiating.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the church.
