Charles Ray Edwards Sr. , 72 , went to be with the Lord in heaven on Mon day, January 11, 2021 at his home.

Born on November 28, 1948 in Wartburg, Tennessee , Charles was the son of the late Everett O. and Pearl N. Carter Edwards . He worked for Sherwood Corporation in Spring City before retiring . Charles was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Johnny and Junior Edwards and sisters Anna Joyce Edwards , Betty Boles and Nellie Cochran and ex-wife Carolyn Edwards .

Charles is survived by his son Charles R. Edwards Jr. of Spring City, sister Brenda L. (Randy) Hall of Cros sville, nephew s Donnie (Carrie) Reed of Crossville, Freddy (Diane) Cochran of Evensville , Michael Boles of Spring City and Br ian Keith Reed of Grandview,  nieces Pansie Dillard of Chattanooga and Venita Cochran Hurd of Evensville, grand children Dustin Edwards and Brittan e y Eubanks and great grandchild William Zachery Burkehead .

There will be no services or visitation.
