Carolyn Marie Edwards 70 went home to be the Lord on Friday November 3, 2017.

A lifetime resident of Rhea County, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Robert Thomas and Bertha Crowe Tilley.  She was a manager for the McDonald's Restaurant in Dayton for 32 years before her retirement in 2017.  Carolyn was member of the Spring City Independent Baptist Church. She was loved by many friends and co-workers.

She was preceded in death by her brother Donnie Tilley.

Carolyn is survived by her son Charles R. Edwards Jr. of Spring City, brother Cletus (Debbie) Tilley of Evensville, sister Kathy (George) Clark of Evensville, ex-husband Charles R. Edwards Sr. of Dayton, grandchildren Brittaney Eubanks of Savannah, Georgia and Dustin Edwards, Orlando, Florida and great grandchild William Zachery Burkehead of Savannah, Georgia.

By Carolyn's request, there will be no visitation or services.
