Carla G. Blair age 73 of Spring City, Tennessee died Thursday, September 1, 2022 at her residence.

Carla was born on December 29, 1948 and has been a resident of this area for 52 years after moving here from Georgia. She was a graduate of Rossville High School in Rossville, Georgia. Carla started working at TVA at 18 years of age and retired 30 years later. She enjoyed crocheting, working word puzzles, and playing the piano. Carla was a member of Central Baptist Church in Spring City.

Carla is preceded in death by her husband Daniel Blair, her father Carl Bearden and mother Nettie Bearden Brazzell , her son David Harper, and her great granddaughter Lexi Reed.

Survivors include her daughters Angie (David) Godsey of Grandview, Tennessee and Beth (Mike) Porter of Spring City, Tennessee; her dog Cleo; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 4, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Brent Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home. She will be buried i n Chattanooga National Cemetery on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 12:30 PM.
