Bruce Allen Buswell 69, died Saturday September 21, 2019 at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee . Born in New Hampshire, he was the son of the late Russell F rank and Marion King Buswell. Bruce retired as an Electrical Engineer with I. T. T. before moving to Spring City. He served his coun try in the U.S. Air Force. Bruce lov ed the outdoors, particularly boat ing and fish ing ; and especially loved to ride his horses . His most beloved passion was spending time with his family and loved ones.

Survivors include his partner of 35 years Dee Riggle of Spring City , sons Rick (Julie) Buswell of Odessa, FL and Dennis Buswell of Tampa, FL, 4 stepchildren Julie Edwards and Gary Riggle both of Memphis, Larry Riggle of Dallas, Texas and Sherry Bruce of Midwest City, OK, brother Kenneth (Donna) Buswell of Washington, Conn., sisters Beth Hall of Raleigh, North Carolina, Terri Dunning of Dallas, TX and Eileen Decaminada of Golden Bridge, New York and his grandchildren Eric, Justin, Stephen and Joseph Buswell.

Graveside services with military honors will be Monday, September 23, 2019 at 3:00pm in the Spring City Cemetery, 590 Cemetery Road, Spring City, TN 37381 with Minister Alan Judd officiating. There will be no visitation . In lieu of flowers, the family request s that donations in memory of Bruce be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital www.stjude.org .
