A longtime resident of Spring City, she moved from Kentucky in 1979. Brenda's family and friends were the most important thing in her life. She also loved her dogs and to go fishing. Brenda was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her father Rev. Isom Music and her friend Kathy Click.

Survivors include her husband Darrell "Boomer" Schaffer of Spring City, mother Gracie Preston Music of Vanlear, Kentucky, her pet chihuahua "Thelma", brothers Roger (Glenna) Music of Vanlear, Kentucky and Lee (Angie) Music of West Vanlear, Kentucky and sister Sheryl Webb of Vanlear, Kentucky.

Funeral services are Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. David Brock officiating. Interment will be Friday, March 2, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Evening Shade Cemetery in Spring City. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
