Brenda J. Gilliam , 66 died Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga .

A longtime resident of Grandview, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Colleen Gann Sollomen. Brenda graduated from Spring City High School. She was a homemaker and a member of the " Circle o f Friends ". Brenda was also a member of the Dayton Garden Club, The Dahlia Society in Chattanooga and the Grandview Baptist Church .  She loved to sew and quilt. Brenda also enjoyed reading . She was a great cook , but , most of all, she loved her family.

Survivors include her husband Alfred Gilliam of Grandview, daughters Jennifer (Zlatko) Kozlica of Chattanooga and Jessica (Scott) Thurman of Spring City, brother Jimmy (Vickie) Sollomen of Dayton, sister Kathy (Ricky) Reed of Grandview and grandchildren Emily, Maggie, Nathan and Ryan.

Funeral services are Thurs day, March 28 , 2019 at 6:00 pm at the Grand view Baptist Church with Rev. Herman Fox officiating.  Interment will be Friday, March 29, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thurs day from 3:00 p m to 6:00 p m at Grandview Baptist Church.
