Brenda Combs age 66 of Dayton, Tennessee died on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Hospice Care Center of Chattanooga.

She was born on April 12, 1958 in Battle Creek, Michigan to the late Glenn and Virginia Jones Roberts. Brenda attended school in Battle Creek, Michigan. She moved to Tennessee in the 1980's. Brenda worked for a brief time at a textile industry, but was primarily a homemaker. Brenda liked to cross-stitch, crochet, read, and shop. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Brenda was blessed with many friends. She was of the Baptist faith.

Brenda is preceded in death by infant baby Amanda.

Survivors include her children Jeanie Marie Barnes of Spring City, Tennessee, Tanaya (Jesse Hill) Messimer of Dayton, Tennessee, and Bobby Joe (Elise) Combs of Evensville, Tennessee; her sister Diane Roberts of Dayton, Tennessee; her eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; her special friends Shari Beacham, Lorena Creasman, Jimmie Ann Mahan, and Lois Dagnan; and many more friends and family.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Burchard Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Vaughn Funeral Home.
