Boyd "Chip" Alley 63 of Spring City died Friday September 17, 2021 at his residence.

Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Bernard and Margaret Jones Alley. Chip was a jack-of-all-trades. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing poker and pool and loved playing the guitar and the harmonica. Chip attended the Spring City Baptist Church.

He was also preceded in death by his brother Larry Alley and Gary Alley and his sister Peggy Alley D illard.

Survivors include his wife Connie Alley, children D.J. Alley, Dewayne Alley, Angel Alley, Bernard and Kaitlyn Alley all of Spring City and Josh (Summer) Alley of Decatur, TN, sisters Imo Ferry and Shirley Alvey both of Dayton and brothers James Alley, Richard Alley and Andy Alley all of Dayton, TN and thirteen grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Monday, September 20, 2021 in Concord Cemetery at 2:00PM with Rev. Robert Hurd officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 until time of services.
