Billie Vaughn Fine age 92 of Dayton, Tennessee died Monday, December 12, 2022 at Rhea County Medical Center.

Billie was born on February 6, 1930 to the late John and Nell Marler Vaughn and was a lifetime resident of the area. She was a graduate of Spring City High School and McKenzie Business College. Billie was the co-owner of Fine's Furniture in Dayton. She worked for Turnbu ll Cone Company in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Billie also worked in the Rhea County Court House for the Register of Deeds and the Property Assessor. She retired from the Rhea County Medical Center after many years of service. Billie was a member of First Baptist Church in Dayton, Tennessee.

Billie was also preceded in death by her husband Ed Fine and her sister Marveen Vaughn.

Survivors include her son John Fine of Dayton, Tennessee; sister Janie (Junior) Fine of Spring City, Tennessee ; and nieces Donna Fine, Danette (Tom) Kennedy, and Melanie (Roger) Reynolds.

As per her request, there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will take place in Buttram Cemetery.
