Betty Sue Reed age 88 formerly of Grandview, Tennessee died on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Roane Medical Center in Harriman, Tennessee.

She was born on September 25, 1934 to the late Guy and Effie Mae Reed. Betty loved going to the flea market and antiquing. She also like to flower garden and travel with her sister Margaret , and her grandchildren. She was a former member of Grandview Baptist Church in Grandview, Tennessee and most recently White Oak Baptist Church in Dayton, Tennessee.

Betty is also preceded in death by her sisters Anna May Coleman and Carolyn Jane Walker, her brothers Edd Dean Reed and J.E. Reed, and her daughter Shelia R. Motes.

Survivors include her daughter Vickie Lynn (Howard) Arnold of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; her brothers Chester and Billy Reed both of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee; her sister Margaret Harvey of Alabama; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 11 , 2023 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Howard Arnold officiating. Interment will follow in Johnson Stand Cemetery . The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 11 , 2023 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Vaughn Funeral Home.
