Betty M. Cross age 97 of Spring City, Tennessee died on Thursday, November 02, 2023 at Spring City Care and Rehabilitation.

She was born on December 16, 1925 in Hayti, Missouri to the late Burt and Effie Vaughn Williams. Betty moved to this area from Chico, California in 1980. She was a member of the Board of Directors of Team Challenge. Betty loved to cook, play games, and tell people about the Lord. She also loved the Atlanta Braves and her family. Betty was a member of Spring City Church of God.

Betty is also preceded in death by her husband Rev. Fletcher Cross, her daughter Debra Bauman, her son Don Cross, her brothers Vaughn and Dale Williams,her granddaughter Collette French, and her grandson Kendall Cross.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law Julie Cross of Athens, Tennessee; her brothers Morris Williams of Hayti, Missouri and Gary Williams of Omaha, Nebraska; her five great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. James Swanger officiating. Interment will follow in Spring City Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Vaughn Funeral Home.
