Betty J. Boles, 74, died Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center.

A longtime resident of Spring City, Betty was the daughter of the late Everett and Pearl Carter Edwards.  She was a seamstress and retired from the Lazy Boy Corporation in 2000.  Betty was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Grandview.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph E. Boles, son Michael Lynn Boles, sister Nellie Cochran and brother Everett Edwards Jr.

Survivors include her son Eddie (Lori) Boles Jr. of Spring City, sister Brenda (Randy) Hall of Crossville, brother Charles Edwards of Dayton and grandchildren Brian and Chad Boles, Francie McKinney and Mikey Boles, great grandchildren Grayson and Audrey Boles and her family at the Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center for the last two years.

Funeral services are Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Lawrence Waller officiating.  Interment will follow in the Spring City Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
