Barbara E. Garren 75 , of Spring City died Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the Laurelbrook Nursing Home in Dayton.

Born on June 16, 1945 in Spring City, Barbara was the daughter of the late William and Pauline Pendleton Russell.  She moved from Blount County, Tennessee back to the Spring City community in 1990.  Barbara was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking , reading and spending time with her family .  She was of the Baptist faith.

Barbara was also preceded in death by her husband Roger Garren Sr., her son Jonathan Scott Garren and her brother Jimmy Russell.

Survivors include her sons Roger (Deep a ) Garren Jr. of Kingston, TN a n d Michael (Melissa) Garren of Spring City, her brothers Lonnie Russell and Terry Russell both of Spring City, sister Connie Daughtery of Spring City, her grandchildren Emily Garren, Madeline Garren and River Garren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Spring City Cemetery with Terry Russell officiating.  There will be no visitation.
