August Baldassaro, 62 of Spring City died Monday, February 28, 2022 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Born on January 11, 1960 in New Orleans, Louisiana , August and his family moved to the Spring City community in 1994.  August worked for 31 years as a Procurement Manager for United Engineers.  He love d to cook and enjoyed yard work.  August was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church in Dayton.

He was preceded in death by his father Octavio Baldassaro , his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Baldassaro, his brother Joseph Baldassaro and his sisters Lisa McGee and Penny Baldassaro.

Survivors include his mother Helena Baldassaro of Marrero, Louisiana, children Chris Baldassaro and Dodie Baldassaro both of Spring City, his sister Tammy Pierce of Marrero, Louisiana, his m o ther-in- law Honey Ann Romino of Spring City and his grandchildren Savannah, Jackson and Tug.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Monsignor Al Humbrecht officiating.  Interment will follow in the Spring City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
