Archie Ray Fine Sr., 70 , was carried away by angels on Tuesday, July 14 , 20 20. He was a devoted husband and a loving father.

Born on April 14, 1950, Archie was a lifetime resident of Spring City . He was a veteran and served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War . Archie was an ironworker and worked for the TVA Local #704 for 28 years.  He worked for several years at the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant in Spring City.  Archie was a member of the American Legion Post #20 3 in Spring City. He was of the Baptist faith.

Archie was preceded in death by parents Dan and Maggie Carney Fine, his brothers Caroll Fine, Roy Fine and Ralph Fine and sisters Lorraine Creller, Henrietta Campbell and Helen McClain.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years Wanda Lou Fine, sons Rev. Archie Ray (Mary) Fi ne Jr. and Chester (Annie) Fine, sisters Mildred Darr, Ruth Reed, Nancy Whitted, Doris Reel, Ann Perry and Pamela Ledford, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thurs day, July 16 , 20 20 at 2:00 p m in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Archie Ray Fine Jr. officiating.  Interment with military honors will follow in the Spring City Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Thurs day from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
