Annie M. Bracken, 91 died Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Rhea Medical Center .

Born on June 22, 1929 in Swain County, North Carolina , Annie was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ora Mae Stalcup G olden .  She was a homemaker and moved from Georgia to the Spring City community 26 years ago .   Annie enjoyed knitting, crocheting and making quilts.  She also liked working puzzles and painting pictures.  Annie was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Bracken, sons Eugene Bracken and Van Bracken, grandson Mark Ellis Sherrill and several brothers and sisters.

Surviv ors include her children Wanatha "Teenie" Dodd of Spring City, Jack Bracken of Graysville, Tennessee, Frankie Bracken of Balsom Grove, North Carolina, Jane Bracken of Spring City, Henry Bracken of Toxaway, North Carolina and Robert Bracken of Spring City, brother Joe Golden of Canton, North Carolina, twin sister Bessie Reeves of Tigerville, South Carolina, sister s Bonnie Bracken of Brevard, North Carolina and Wanda Golden of California, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation or services.
