Anna Rose Walker age 94 of Spring City, Tennessee died on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at NHC Nursing Home in Athens, Tennessee.

She was born on May 5, 1930 to the late Gilbert Garfield and Molly McGann McCabe. Anna attended school in Spring City. She moved to Texas in 1955, then later moved back to Spring City in 1973. Anna was always a homemaker. She liked to paint with acrylics and hunt arrowheads. Anna also loved to play dominoes. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Calm in Mt. Calm, Texas.

Anna is also preceded in death by her husband Rex. C. Walker, her brothers Truman McCabe, Gilbert "Biggin" McCabe, Perry "Tip" McCabe, and Byron McCabe, and her sisters Eileen Craighead, Margaret McClendon, and Mina Fugate.

Survivors include her children Margaret Underwood of Spring City, Tennessee, Bill (Brenda) Walker of Cookeville, Tennessee, and JoAnn (Victor) Wyatt of Athens, Tennessee; her sister Stella King of Spring City, Tennessee; four grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at Wolf Creek Cemetery with Rev. Adam Jones officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. at Vaughn Funeral Home.
