Agnes Lucille Reed, 90 died Friday, July 12, 2019 at the Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center .

A lifetime resident of Rhea County, Agnes was the daughter of the late Wesley and Lena Burnette Robinson.  She was a graduate of Spring City High School.  Agnes was a cafeteria manager for the Rhea County Department of Education for 24 years before her retirement.  She was a member of the Me rcy Baptist Church in Grandview.  Agnes loved quilting and crocheting.

She was preceded in d eath by her husband Claudy Reed, daughter Jannette Reed Conger , sisters Hazel Gibson and Doris Smith and daughter-in-law Sue Reed.

Survivors include her sons Kenneth Reed of Trenton, Georgia and Don (Evelene) Reed of E vensville, son-in-law Tom Conger of Cross Plains, Tennessee, brother-in-law "Jack" Leonard Reed of Grandview, special friend Chuc k Monroe, several gr andchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services are Sun day, July 14 , 2019 at 2:00 p m in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Zimmerman officiating.  Interment will be in the Mt. Sulphur Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Satur day from 6:00 pm to 8:00 p m at Vaughn Funeral Home.
